I got some really beautiful pictures, of course I wish I had a better camera to take them with. My cell phone and the cheapest model coolpix just had to do, non the less, most pictures were decent. I got carried away as usual. My wife thinks I take too many pictures, but that is half the fun of it.
Everytime we go to a different park, you think, I've seen it all, and then, boom, everyone has it's best that you don't see anywhere else. So I guess we all have to visit all the Parks, lol! Here is a video of pics from Sequoia, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Pictures just don't really do the magnitude justice.
After leaving Sequioa we spent the night in Oakhurst at a Quality Inn. We then drove to Yosemite, absolutely beautiful, I say that about everywhere, lol, but it's true! They have a lot of hiking, waterfalls, and Glazier Point, one of my favorite stops in the park.
We were told at the entrance that Hetch Hetchy, Tioga, and Glacier point road were closed due to snow. We drove into the park and came down into Yosemite Valley and saw the sign for Glazier Point so we went. It was not blocked off or anything. We made a few stops along the way to play in the snow on the side of the road, took a few pictures, then headed on up to Glazier Point. What a breath taking view it was. I took so many pictures of the upper and lower falls and of half dome. The weather as I said was great. We had on short sleeves shirts and it was sunny. After spending about an hour up there, we drove back down and circled the valley making stops along the way for pictures of the falls, El Capitan, and then proceeded to leave the park and headed towards Stockton. We spent the night at the Stockton KOA in the Delta area. It was right in a marina. We were the only tent campers there and they stuck us in a secluded spot. It seemed nice enough but the fact that they had a security guard all night kind of made you wonder! No problems though.
Here is a video of some of the pics from Yosemite, I hope you enjoy watching them and listening to my friend Bronze James sing and play lead guitar in the background music. He is currently in Vegas doing a show with someone, and he will be going out and playing with a band opening for Jason Aldine soon. I think his first show for that will be in Canada, wish him lots of luck.
