Cleaning my ride before our trip, lol!

     Today I decided to wash "RED" as my youngest grandson calls my car before we leave on our trip. I even waxed it. The reason is, it well just be sitting out in the elements the whole time we are gone, so I thought a good clean and wax would help to hold it over till we get back.
     Now, for those of you who don't know RED, he is a 1990 ford festiva with 230 some thousand miles on him. Now for those who don't want to do the math, that's 22 years old, not bad. I get between 42-47 miles to the gallon when I "baby" him, that's the reason I bought such an old car. Some of the older cars got better mileage than the newer ones!
